About Us

Founded in 2010, Sun Harmonics Ltd is a solar energy company developing and manufacturing flexible CIGS (Copper Indium Gallium diSelenide) thin film PV cells. In 2012, we purchased entire production lines from Global Solar Energy Deutschland GmbH (GSED), Berlin, Germany. Through aggressive innovation deep in science and engineering, our unique roll-to-roll fabrication process is now in volume production ramp. Our advanced solar technology provides superior product features such as flexibility, light weight, and weak light performance, opening up new and alternative markets, where solar hasn’t been a viable option in the past. Sun Harmonics’s cells have been already integrated in a variety of form factors, from BIPV, mobile power, portable consumer products to commercial solar roofs, helping to drive the solar market into the next level of innovation, adoption and affordability. The aperture efficiency of our CIGS modules has reached 12% in average. Sun Harmonics operates a Hangzhou, China facility with a production capacity of 50 megawatts.
